Snake was the fifth and final book in the No Prisoners MC by Lilly Atlas.Nick aka Snake was the former President of the Grimm Brothers MC, the evil rival MC that were present in most of the No Prisoners series. Snake was beaten severely in Jester (book three). We now learned that Snake’s VP hauled him across several state lines, shot him and dumped him in a ravine to die. However, there was a secret witness that got him to a hospital for a long recovery. Amanda was the physical therapist assigned to Snake.I thoroughly enjoyed Snake. The storyline was a struggle between Snake and Nick - which one will ultimately win dominance within his life. Will it be the old life or a new one? I enjoyed the mental discussions surrounding Snake’s dilemma. It was a journey of reconciliation, second chances, new beginnings, hope and forever love.All in all, it was a great conclusion to the series. I’m going to miss the series, but I look forward to experiencing where Atlas takes us next.
OMG! I freaking LOVED this book! First, this was the FIRST book I read in this series, but also it was the first book I had read by Lilly Atlas.This is the story of Snake, the President of the Grimm Brothers MC, and his redemption story. And OH MY GOD, it was amazing! Snake has been betrayed by his own members, beaten, shot, and left for dead in another state. He comes to in a hospital, and begins a friendship of sorts with his physical therapist. No one knows who he is, and using an assumed name, he is given a second chance to truly look at who he is and who he wants to be.This was the fifth book in this series, but it was written in a way that I was able to pick up and just read. Snake's character was so intriguing to me, that at the end of this book, I immediately downloaded and began reading Striker, the first book in this series (I'll write that review shortly). If you haven't read any other books in this series, get them now! Reading Striker help me to see just how evil Snake was, so reading his redemption and love story, makes it so much more. 5-stars from a new fan!!
Holy wow! I was a bit nervous going into Snake's book because, well, he was a bit of a jacka$$ in previous books in the series. How could the author possibly make him likable?And then I read Snake's story.His focus on getting better in order to exact revenge? Definitely Snake.But his introspective thoughts and how he did what he could to be the man who could possibly win Amanda's heart? All Nick.I totally enjoyed the twists and turns this book had, and was thrilled to see how it played out. If you're worried because Snake is such a, well, snake? Go in with your eyes wide open and find yourself pleasantly surprised!
I wasn't sure I wanted to read this book. After Reading the other books in this series snake was just an awful person, I didn't think there was anyway I could like him. boy was I wrong. He really redeemed himself, so glad I decided to give this book a chance. I would suggest reading the rest of the series before you read this book but it could be read as a stand alone.
Snake was mostly dead after his beating from Jester but then his Second in command VP Casper decided to really make him dead by throwing him in a ravine and then shooting him three times but someone seen them throw him in the ravine and called the cops. So now in a hospital to recover from his injury’s he meets Amanda his physical therapist and everything changes. So enjoy the read and find out how their relationship will grow and if Snake goes back to his old ways or if Nick is here to stay ! !
I've read the whole series and I believe this was my absolute favorite . This was a great book filled with so much story and depth. It's hard to go on about everything that was in the story as some reviews do and give it away . But I can honestly say this was really good . I wish there were more but it was a good ending to a good series . Really enjoy your writing Lilly and I'm looking forward to more .
I really enjoyed reading this MC series. Snake is a hard man, selfish and didn't care what others thought. This book defined well his redemption and transformation. I loved how his relationship with Amanda evolved. Amanda is his saving grace and her love helped him be the man he thought he would never be, their chemistry unmistakable and HEA, their future.
I wanted the story of Snake so bad and when I found out his story was out I jumped for joy. I knew throughout the series that there was good in him. I was not disappointed at all with this story and feel this was the best book because of how far Snake had to go to redeem himself.
