The NOLS Cookery books have been in print, in various forms and editions, for over 20 years - providing delicious and nutritious meals for Wilderness enthusiasts. good basic cookbook

Saw at a caone show and wanted it.
Good recipes, simple yet unusual and way better than the bland freeze dried.
I have spent many years camping and canoeing and this book, plus anything by Cliff Jacobson, are the best.
Based on lot of NOLS experience on what actually works.
And cheaper here than on the NOLS site directly.

Outdoor living Skills

I used this book in my Outdoor Living Skills class at my University and I have found it very useful and it was highly recommended by my professor, who has much more outdoor experience then myself. It's a good buy.
