Uncivil Twilight was a very good read. George Sherwood did an exceptional job on his research. In 1924, May and Nina's bodies were found in a shallow grave near the area where three more children were found in the Summer of 1937. Unfortunately, it was my Great Uncle that was arrested for the horrific murder of Melba and Madeline Everett and friend Jeannette Stephen's. Uncle Albert was found guilty and hung in 1938. George Sherwood brought the two cases together in Uncivil Twilight and Colder Case book 2. My family was shamed for many years, thanks to him, he proved the forensics didn't match Uncle Albert's confession. My father died before I could show him proof that his Uncle was innocent. My father's name was Albert, but he quickly changed it when he was old enough to understand the full scope of what had happened. Thank you George Sherwood for your work and my family thanks you too! Uncivil Twilight is a must read, as is book 2 , Colder Case.
This was a very difficult book to read. There are quite a lot of typos. And a good majority of it is simply the actual court records. Not an easy read.
