Held Captive

This was a typical Bitter Creek story, full of sensual romance, suspense which held me so captive, I couldn't put it down. Joan knows how to write a compelling story that is thrilling, exciting and mysterious. It was cool to see Breed, who had such a rotten childhood, become a successful,respected FBI agent. The outcome with his Father was also rewarding, also to find love and be loved. Fantastic!! I love the Bitter Creek series where you get to follow the lives of each of the family characters and their interaction throughout their lives. Well done!

Where is the next book?

This was a great read and nice to find out what happened to Breed. I liked the plot of a serial killer added into the book. It made the book slightly mysterious. I would deffinately recommend this book to others. I would be sure to read The Next Mrs. Blackthorne before this one. It is always good to read the books in order. My mother and I are both waiting for the next book to come out to find out what happened to Kate.
