UN-FRICKEN-BELIEVABLE!!!!WoW!!! I mean REALLYYYYY.......I mean I knew it was going to have a cliff hanger they always do, what I can't figure out is if the one from #4 or this one from #5 is the worst, I think number 4 made me heart broken, and number 5 pissed me off.I mean really, hasn't Avery been through enough already, geezzzzz, poor girl doesn't get a break at all.She has NO ONE, only had 2 best friends, ONLY, and now one is in love with her and the other stuck a knife in her back.I mean really Mel, what a friend ha?!!!And no s*** about it's her job either, that would just be BS, she wanted Sean from the beginning of the series, she thought he was HOT.Still knowing Sean is hiding something from his past, I have a feeling this is another reason why he can't have anything with Avery. Well I guess now, this will wake her up to his games. Sean would be an awesome fricken guy, if he would put his BS aside. I mean he knows how she feels, so does Mel, and they both betray her.....Poor Avery now I think she is going to turn to Marty for sympathy, right into the trap he wants her, that will suck for sure.Wonder how much more Avery will be able to put up with in this series, I think the poor girl is about done.I just hope we don't have to wait to long for # 6.. MAYBEEEEEEE, since we waited so long for #5, we can be surprised with #6, HOPEFULLY within 2 weeks. Enough of the cliff hangers already, this is so un fair, lolWe are loyal to you, and support you, please return the favor, and make it snappy :]]That would be WONDERFULLLLLLL :]]]]Once again, another great book, WAY to short, but great book.
I am addicted to this series and the plot. The fact that I tell my husband to ban all interruptions until I am finished reading the latest one should be an indicator of how great these books really are. The plot never dries up and leaves you on the edge of your seat with the best (I want to cry when they end) cliffhangers for the next installment. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone looking for an enthralling book series. Yes they are short, but sometimes shorter is better and I can't wait for the 6th book to come out!
The was a really good easy read. Ward does a great job drawing you in and feel what Avery feels. The cliff hanger was leaves your mind reeling; I did not expect it at all. I really don't want to wait long for the next book.
So Avery and Sean both survive the accident. Avery wakes up to find out that Sean left the hospital without seeing her. Marty and Mel are there to be biggest supporters. When Gabe comes in, Avery gets the money out of the envelope and gives it to Gabe to give to Black. On her way home, she has Marty take her to Sean. He saved her life, she has to see him. Marty goes with her. Only Sean is shocked to see her and pissed to see Marty with her. Marty finally leaves her there and Sean begins to tell her he hates that hospital because that is where he lost his wife and baby. So they decide to be BFF's. Only Sean keeps trying to seduce her into letting him do some things that basically isn't intercourse. Avery is back to work for Black. She finds out her next contract is with Henry again. While she is with Henry, Sean is with his hooker. She is suppose to see him after she is done. So she goes on her date with Henry. They go to his room and things progress nicely. Until Henry asks how far she would go if she were really on a second date. Second base? So Avery thinks she is going to be having sex with Henry, only to have Henry stop after kissing her breasts. She is worried she failed once and Black is going to fire her. Only Henry says that he is stopping at second base, and is ordering her up again since it is the only way he can date her for the to get to third base. Avery is ecstatic! So she leaves and shows up at Sean's early. Only to find that she is betrayed by the two people she loves the most. Mel is Sean's hooker for the night. She slaps Mel and runs away. What will Avery do now? Onto #6
This is one of my favorite serials ever. It’s sexy, sassy, funny and dark.This serial belongs to the dark and brooding Sean Ferro. He’s the first Ferro I was introduced to, and he holds a piece of my heart. As the series start out, Sean is very mysterious, and to be honest – 15 volumes in (when I’m writing this review), he still is a bit of an enigma. There is still a lot to be learned. He’s a dark SOB, this one. He’s got his fetishes, but holy wow is he delicious. And scary. Seriously, I love him – but if I had known him IRL I would have been scared s***less, and kept my distance.Then we have Avery. This girl’s got some spunk. I mean she has to, given that Sean is her love interest. She’s a struggling student when we first meet her, and when her best friend, Mel, realizes this, she reveals what her REAL job is. She’s a high dollar call girl. Ms. Black latches on to Avery immediately, and if Avery just takes one client, it could solve all her problems. She only has to say yes. Problem is she only wants one guy, Sean. Enter: a s***load of trouble.“I’m rewarded, uh, I mean punished, with a slap to my backside.†- AveryThis is an erotic romance, and you can expect some mighty steamy scenes. Some of the volumes more so than others, because there is a hell of a lot going on in this series. The Arrangement, and Sean basically, was the catalyst for all the other books from this same world. Sean has made an appearance is in every spin-off so far. So this is obviously a great place to start if you are curious about H.M. Ward’s books. Just remember to start at the beginning. You would not understand half of what’s going on if you jumped into it halfway through.It’s important to note that this is a fan driven series. Essentially that means that as long as the fans want more, there will be more. And I honestly can’t picture the day we won’t want more. So if that is not for you, I recommend you go pick up something else, because this story has been going on for a good while now, and I certainly hope it will go on for a long time to come – as long as Holly wants it to.Another important note is that these are split up in volumes, and each one end on a cliffhanger (Holly is the queen of cliffhangers). It’s nerve-wracking every time. And it is one of the tings that keep it just as exciting as it was in the beginning. As well as the fact that they’re always fast paced, and it never gets boring. Each volume starts off exactly where the last one left off. I always like to re-read the latest volume before the next one releases because you really get thrown right back into the action without any recaps. It really is kind of built like a TV-show, which is so awesome, because something like that is currently in the works! *fangirls* Just Imagine seeing THE Sean Ferro on screen…
